VP LENI ROBREDO RECOGNIZES LCC IN MAKING THE FARMERS AS AGRI-ENTREPRENEURS

Vice President Leni Robredo and LCC Executive Director Mr. Romeo Tan, agreed into a partnership in providing livelihood opportunities for the farmers

Republic of the Philippines Vice President Leni Robredo recognized LCC Group of Companies as the provider of livelihood opportunities in the farmers of Camarines Sur.

In an interview, she said that LCC is one of the images of success in her program “Omasenso sa Kabuhayan” as they have entered into an agreement wherein the farmers will supply agricultural crops to LCC Markets which the company have already conducted in the other provinces in the Bicol Region.

The small farmers were overwhelmed because LCC ordered tons of vegetables and fruits from them leading them to increase their profit and making them as agri-entrepreneurs.

Mr. Romie Tan, LCC’s Executive Director had already leading the LCC Group of Companies to give more opportunities in the farming sector to partake in the advocacy of “Eat Local, Save Local Farmers Campaign.”

Today, LCC Markets is already selling local fruits and vegetables from the local farmers and now gains positive feedback in the customers because the items that they buy in the store became more affordable.
